Aberfeldie House

Aberfeldie House

The Aberfeldie sitting room is a striking blend of colour, pattern, and artistry, designed to feel both vibrant and welcoming. Rich blues were chosen to balance the warmth of the red parquetry floors, creating a harmonious foundation for the space. A custom-designed rug featuring a cymatic pattern introduces a sense of movement, echoed in the photograph of rolling waves that anchors the room above the sofa. Bold fabrics add to the playful mix of patterns, bringing depth and texture. The space is further elevated by a custom lamp, a collaboration between Camilla Molders and renowned glass artist Phillip Stokes, which serves as both a functional and sculptural feature. Together, these elements create a dynamic yet inviting sitting room that seamlessly combines comfort with sophisticated design.
