Sometimes, all it takes is a splash of bold colour to transform a space! This reading room, designed for a client with an adventurous spirit, features unique elements that reflect their personality and love for vibrant design. A custom-designed area rug draws inspiration from the art deco ceiling details above, creating a harmonious connection between the floor and ceiling. The bold colour of the rug was inspired by a vibrant jacket in the room, which our client loved for its lively energy, so we decided to incorporate it into the design. A particularly eye-catching feature is the wall of frames, which actually holds framed money—a stash of discontinued German currency from the 1920s, kept due to inflation. The beautiful, intricate artwork on the notes was too stunning to remain in a drawer, so we framed it, creating a truly unique art wall made of cash!
