Ivanhoe Townhouse

Ivanhoe Townhouse

The Ivanhoe Townhouse project was a journey of transformation, working closely with the client room by room to refresh the home from dated and daggy to timeless and effortlessly livable. Each space was thoughtfully reimagined, blending practicality with personality, and creating a cohesive design that feels warm, welcoming, and tailored to modern living. The result is a home that’s as stylish as it is comfortable, perfectly reflecting the client’s lifestyle.

The living and dining room at the Ivanhoe Townhouse underwent a complete transformation from its original state, which featured shag pile carpet and yellow bottle glass doors. We reimagined the space, layering textiles and patterns to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thoughtfully selected fabrics, custom cushions, and soft furnishings brought depth and personality, while the overall design balances comfort with style. The result is a space that feels inviting and perfectly suited for modern living, while honoring the character of the home.

The kitchen at the Ivanhoe Townhouse was a small space in need of a refresh, and we set out to create a timeless yet striking design. To bring life to the space, we introduced bold blue cabinetry that adds depth and character. Custom-made encaustic tiles with a striking pattern on the floor bring an element of fun while ensuring durability and practicality. The result is a kitchen that feels fresh, functional, and classic, with just the right amount of personality.

What our client had to say:

“Prior to employing Camilla, I had been stuck in ‘choice overload’ for many months. Camilla helped me to move forward with a stepwise-whole-house renovation. She encourages the use of high-quality local manufacturers, but has been very respectful of my budget and existing furniture.

I am constantly impressed at Camilla’s individualised style suggestions – there is nothing ‘cookie cutter’ about my rooms and I love looking at her other projects, seeing how different each of them is!”
