Elwood Bamboo
Sustainable Kitchen and Bathroom Design
The Elwood Bamboo House project embraced the challenge of creating a kitchen and bathroom that were as environmentally responsible as possible. With a focus on sustainability and thoughtful design, we carefully selected materials and finishes that balanced eco-consciousness with style. From renewable bamboo cabinetry to reclaimed timber details and handmade tiles by local artisans, every element was chosen to minimize environmental impact while creating beautiful, functional spaces tailored to the client’s needs.

The bathroom at Elwood Bamboo House was designed with sustainability at its core, meeting the challenge of creating eco-friendly spaces without compromising on style. Bamboo cabinetry pairs beautifully with reclaimed ironbark timber tops, bringing warmth and natural texture to the design. Handmade fishscale tiles by a local artisan add a unique personality, while clever storage solutions ensure the space is as practical as it is beautiful. Thoughtfully designed and sustainably crafted, this bathroom perfectly reflects the eco-conscious ethos of the home.
The kitchen at Elwood Bamboo House was designed for a family who loves to cook, blending functionality with eco-friendly materials and thoughtful details. Bamboo cabinetry provides a sustainable and stylish foundation, while a large pantry and cleverly integrated laundry with a drying cupboard ensure the space meets the demands of a busy household. Copper kickers add warmth and a touch of elegance, beautifully complemented by Moroccan pendant lights that bring character and charm. The result is a highly practical yet inviting kitchen, perfect for family life.
